Technoir is doing something a little different.
On Saturday 12 September, we’re heading downstairs to Collingwood Basement, beneath New Guernica, for Technoir Basement Session.
After the bigger Christmas parties of recent years, this one is a chance to bring Technoir into a smaller room for a more focused night. One room, limited capacity, longer sets, a proper sound system, and a simple focus on what Technoir has always been about: good Techno, connection, and the dancefloor.
For this first Basement Session, Technoir residents Simon Slieker and Ranjit Nijjer will be taking care of the whole night.
Between them, Simon and Ranjit have more than 50 years of DJ experience and around 20 years of shared Technoir history. They’ve been part of the backbone of the party since the early days, and this smaller format gives them a chance to stretch out a bit more than usual.
Expect a broad range of Techno across the night, from deeper early sounds through to heavier late-night moments, with enough time for the music to build properly.
No big lineup, no multiple rooms, no unnecessary extras.
Just Technoir in a basement, all night long, with the focus firmly on the music, the sound system, and the people in the room.
If you’ve missed having Technoir in a smaller, more intimate space, or you just want a proper night of Techno with people who are there for the music, this is the one.
Capacity is limited, so we recommend getting onto tickets early.
